Filipa Amaro is a writer/director born in Lisbon, Portugal, 1993. Graduated from Academia Albertina di Belli Arti in Turin, Italy and got a Masters Degree in Sculpture from the University of Lisbon in 2017. Studied Meisner Technique for two years. Wrote and directed her first TV show Frágil in 2019 for RTP Play and more recently (wrote and directed) Emília for RTP1, 2023. Is currently working on a series of dance films (This Might Get Weird, 2023) and development of the new season of Turn of The Tide for Netflix.
