Joana Caiano (Lisbon 2000) is a young Portuguese filmmaker. She completed her BA honours in Film Production at Arts University of Bournemouth in England (2022).Since then, Joana has been directing music videos and short films between London and Lisbon. She recently debuted in long form with the documentary titled “A Cabeça não é um Sítio Seguro” (Sopro films, 2023) . With an inexorable passion for working with actors, Joana loves creating witty and intriguing narratives both in film and advertising.
