Joana Caiano (lisbon 2000) is a young portuguese filmaker. She completed her BA honoursin Cinema at Arts University of Bournemouth in England ( 2022)

Since then, Joana has been directing music videos, short films between London and Lisbon. Her last project is a long format documentary named “ our head is not a safe place” ( sopro films 2023) 

Joana loves to work with actors as a way to tell captivating stories and has a big enthusiasm for entering new grounds in the world of moviemaking, either in cinema or advertising.
